Kurashiki City integrated into a wide range of issues related to the fields of economy, society, and environment on July 17, 2nd year of Reiwa.

It was selected as the "SDGs Future City" of the country (Cabinet Office) to work on.

We will register as a partner "The future together, SDGs Kurashiki City, Takahashi River basin" and work toward achieving the SDGs.

【What are SDGs?】

Poverty, conflict, climate change, infectious diseases. Mankind faces many challenges and is worried that it will not be possible to continue living stably in this world as it is.

From such a sense of crisis, in order to realize a "sustainable world," people from all over the world discussed in the United Nations (UN) and set goals to be achieved by 2030.

That is the "SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)". Knowing the connections between various social issues and the SDGs, "What should I do to build a sustainable world?"

It is important for each and every one of us to think and act, "What can I do to achieve the SDGs?"
